We highly recommend giving your new cricket bat the best start to life with a Fantail knocking in service. We apply a coat of linseed oil then combine hand knocking of the edges and toe with our state of the art Smart Knocking in machine to complete the process.
We highly recommend applying a facing which helps to protect and prolong the life of your cricket bat. As it adds a barrier to protect from blade damage and also excess moisture and dirt.
The clear facing is recommended for new bats and bats that are still in good condition. As the clear facing offers a superior protective layer compared to the fibre option
The fibre facing is recommended for bats that are starting to show surface cracks on the face. The fibres help to hold the face together. Some players prefer this on new bats as it is slightly lighter than the clear option
A toe guard is designed to protect the toe of a cricket bat from wear and tear. Our rubber toe guard adds a thick layer of protection between the toe and surface. It's great for preventing excess moisture and damage from crease tapping and sliding your bat.

The Swell is ideal for cricketers who want power on the front and back foot. The Swell's shape allows for an outstanding pickup with optimum performance in the centre of the blade. The spine peaks in the middle of the hitting zone with sufficient willow carrying through to the toe allowing for excellent distribution of weight throughout the hitting zone. Bat with the Swell and have the confidence to play 360°
CONSTRUCTION: Conforms to MCC Law 5 bat regulations
PLAYER TYPE: Batsmen who score 360° and seek power off the front & back foot but still seek value for their shots throughout the hitting zone
SWEET SPOT: Its central hitting zone is designed to provide effortless power and control over your shots.
PROFILE: The profile is semi-concaved allowing for an even spread of willow through the edges, spine and profile
EDGE: This Swell has large edges that peak in the centre of the hitting zone
BOW: Our standard bowed blade generates a perfectly balanced pick up to deliver increased power and control.
TOE: The semi-round angled toe helps prevent chipping of the corners of the bat. It also allows you to slide into the crease easily
HANDLE: The semi-oval handle provides strength to your grip of the handle and helps to diffuse the shock waves and movement in the hands created from the ball meeting the blade.
