Our goal is to ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied. Stock orders are usually shipped within a few days. Custom made orders usually take 1 week turnaround. Sometimes this process is a bit quicker depending on demand. Please feel free to stay in contact with us during this time to see how things are going. International Shipping is through DHL Express which is traceable to most countries from pickup to delivery. Domestic Shipping is with Post Haste and is traceable from pickup to delivery. Dispatch is confirmed via email along with tracking details.
All customer information is kept strictly confidential by Fantail Cricket. Under no circumstances will we divulge, share, or sell customer information.
Credit Card Payments
Where your country of residence is not shown, please use NZD$. All credit cards are charged automatically in New Zealand dollars once the order is received. The conversion is made at the current rate of exchange.
Import Tax & Duties
For shipments, generally valued over $500.00 you may be subject to import duties/taxes, which are levied upon importation to your country. Additional charges by customs must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. If you are unsure of these, you should contact your local customs office for further information. Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your order's contents.
Due to the nature of the sport, some reasonably foreseeable impacts may exceed the limitations of our products. Fantail Cricket accepts no responsibility whatsoever, for any injuries sustained or damages caused to property by the use of our products whether they be damaged or otherwise.
Fantail Cricket Bats:
We offer a limited warranty against any fault of manufacture on all Fantail Bats for a total period of 12 months.. This warranty covers all repairs required that are caused as a result of reasonable use of the Fantail Cricket bat. Repairs carried out within 12 month warranty period are free of charge, though there is normally a return post and packing charge. Subsequent repair and servicing is chargeable. Reasonable use involves, and is limited to, the using of the Fantail Cricket cricket bat to hit balls specifically designed for use in the sport of cricket. If the Fantail Cricket cricket bat is deemed un-repairable within a 6 month period then a free replacement will be offered. Fantail Cricket Ltd reserve the right to renege on this warranty if they believe that the bat has been used in ways not deemed reasonable. Fantail Cricket Ltd also reserve the right to renege on this warranty if labels were removed or chosen not to be applied. No cash refunds will be offered and the postage costs relating to the returning of bats will be borne by the customer.
Should you believe a warranty claim to be necessary, the product must be returned to us for inspection. Proof of purchase is required to be provided for any claim to be valid.
The warranty period does NOT include the following;
Insufficient knocking in and preparation prior to use
Damaged edges or toe, or excessive use
Any Fantail Revamp bats
Bats used against bowling machines are not returnable as these especially damage cricket bats.
In the case of replacement product, the remaining warranty period on the existing product only will be carried onto the replacement bat.
Serviced & Repaired Cricket Bats:
Crack Repairs: Our crack repair service is not a crack prevention service. We don't offer any warranty on our crack repairs but we do our best to ensure they hold for as long as possible. Crack repairs are a temporary solution if you are wanting a permanent solution we'd recommend purchasing a new bat. If you need any further details please get in touch before placing an order.
Handle Replacements: We offer a 12-month warranty on handle replacements as long as there wasn't any previous damage to the shoulders or neck of the bat
Knocking In: There is no warranty on bats knocked in by Fantail
Items will be accepted in return for a full refund (excluding original outgoing freight charges) for the following reasons:
- The item is defective.
- The item received is not the ordered item.
- The item differs in specifications from the item displayed on our website.
- Items must still be in absolutely new condition, as determined by Fantail, and with all original tags and packaging.
Items that cannot be returned:
- All cricket bats are made to order so orders cannot be returned or cancelled once your order is placed. Unless you have arranged this with us before placing your order
- Items held longer than the 30-day return policy.
- All Fantail bats that have been used in any way
- No service item will be refunded
Store credit can be issued instead of refund or exchange at any time. Store credit will always be issued when the purchase was originally made with store credits or gift certificates
