We offer a personalised Bat ID service for all new Fantail bats.
Choose up to 14 characters to be applied in black vinyl to the back of your new Fantail cricket bat. It not only gives it a personalised look, but no one can mistake it for yours, which reduces the risk of loss.
Please allow an additional 2-4 working days for your service add-ons to be completed.
We highly recommend giving your new cricket bat the best start to life with a Fantail knocking in service. We apply a coat of linseed oil then combine hand knocking of the edges and toe with our state of the art Smart Knocking in machine to complete the process.
We highly recommend applying a facing which helps to protect and prolong the life of your cricket bat. As it adds a barrier to protect from blade damage and also excess moisture and dirt.
The clear facing is recommended for new bats and bats that are still in good condition. As the clear facing offers a superior protective layer compared to the fibre option
The fibre facing is recommended for bats that are starting to show surface cracks on the face. The fibres help to hold the face together. Some players prefer this on new bats as it is slightly lighter than the clear option
A toe guard is designed to protect the toe of a cricket bat from wear and tear and to prevent the toe from soaking up moisture.
Our rubber toe guard adds a thick layer of protection between the toe and surface. It's excellent for preventing excess moisture and damage from crease tapping and sliding your bat.
Our Fibre epoxy Toe guard is considerably harder than the rubber option, which offers support to the vulnerable corners of the toe. If you are a hard crease tapper or have problems with cracking of the toe, then this is the recommended option for you.
We offer a limited warranty against any fault of manufacture on all Fantail Bats for a total period of 12 months. This warranty covers all repairs required that are caused as a result of reasonable use of the Fantail Cricket bat. Repairs carried out within 12 month warranty period are free of charge, though there is normally a return post and packing charge.
Subsequent repair and servicing are chargeable. Reasonable use involves, and is limited to, the use of the Fantail Cricket cricket bat to hit balls specifically designed for use in the sport of cricket. If the Fantail Cricket cricket bat is deemed unrepairable within a 6 month period then a free replacement will be offered. Fantail Cricket Ltd reserve the right to renege on this warranty if they believe that the bat has been used in ways not deemed reasonable. Fantail Cricket Ltd also reserves the right to renege on this warranty if labels were removed or chosen not to be applied. No cash refunds will be offered and the postage costs relating to the returning of bats will be borne by the customer.
Should you believe a warranty claim to be necessary, the product must be returned to us for inspection. Proof of purchase is required to be provided for any claim to be valid.
The warranty period does NOT include the following;
Insufficient knocking in and preparation prior to use
Damaged edges or toe, or excessive use
Bats used against bowling machines are not returnable as these especially damage cricket bats.
Damage due to moisture and or dirt
In the case of a replacement product, the remaining warranty period on the existing product only will be carried onto the replacement bat.

Domestic / New Zealand orders get sent via Post Haste. Allow 1 to 3 days for delivery.
International Orders get sent via DHL Express. Tax & Duties get calculated in the checkout of our website. Allow 1 to 4 days for delivery.
Click & collect allows you to place your order through our website and and collect your order from our Auckland store.
How do I select store collection? Proceed to the checkout of our website with the items you'd like to purchase in your cart, you will then be offered a delivery method of "Ship" or "Pick up". Select "Pick up" then proceed with your payment details.
During what times will Click & Collect be open? Click & Collect will run as per our regular store opening hours.
Is the Click & Collect option free? Yes, our contactless Click and Collect is completely free.
How will I know my order is ready for collection? We will email you when your order is ready for you to collect.
